A Breakfast full of potential
Centred on Gerrards Cross, Cross Reference is one of the most dynamic and successful networking groups in the thriving South Bucks business community.
We meet at 7:15 every Friday morning at The Bull Hotel on the A40 just a short distance from the town centre and railway station. We are provided with a Full English Breakfast at around 7:30 and pack in a very full programme before departing at 9.00 in order to avoid too much disruption to the business day.
Our membership straddles a broad spectrum of products, services and disciplines from accountants, lawyers and IT experts to an auctioneer, providers of bespoke tailoring and an expert in behavioural change.
Between us we can meet most service needs of small and medium sized businesses. Bearing this in mind we often work together on projects to ensure clients get the best possible value for money.
Although our primary aim is to seek opportunities for our own businesses and those of our associates we try to maintain a sense of humour and fun. Having got to know each other well there is always some mickey-taking during our meetings and we occasionally throw in an unexpected twist – such as presenting on behalf of one of the other members’ businesses rather than your own.
We also arrange social events every few months so our families get a chance to meet the people they hear so much about.
The proof of our success is the volume of business opportunities that are referred during the meetings. We are disappointed if we get less than 30 referrals in a month and on occasions we get as many as 15 in a single meeting. These are not just cold leads – if they are not confirmed business they are genuine warm enquiries.
